Daily Devotional Cards
WHAT IT IS:
A collection of 48 daily devotional cards for Ash Wednesday through Easter Sunday. Each devo card has a daily word, a scripture reading, reflection prompts, and a short prayer. Print, cut, and distribute the cards to your community. They are in no particular order—you can draw a card from your pack each day, trusting that your daily word and prayer is what you need in that moment.
HOW TO USE IT:
- Either print the daily devotional cardson 8.5×11 sheets of card stock to cut down and deliver to families, or print them on this perforated paper so you can easily tear the sheets into cards. Print the PDF under portrait orientation, double-sided, and choose “long edge to long edge,” or “flip on long edge,” for the correct layout. When printed double-sided, there are eight sheets with six word cards each. Cut the sheets into 48 devotional cards per person.
- As you select and contemplate the words day by day, get creative and display your words in a fun way—adhere the cards to a fridge or wall, collect them in a Mason jar, create a fun wall hanging, or arrange them on a desk or table.
- If you’re unable to print & distribute the cards, we’ve provided a basic PDF where you can copy/paste and email or text the daily words, prompts, & prayers (with credit).

Lenten Book Study
This Lent we will be focusing on diversity and inclusion as we study the book “me and white supremacy” by Layla Saad. This is a book that asks readers to participate in a 28 day journey of reflection about white privilege, their behaviours and attitudes. Rev. Molly has read this book and found it to be honest, accessible, thought-provoking, and powerful. While the subject challenges many of us about our core beliefs, we also feel it is time that we as Christians do some of the hard work required to change ourselves and the world around us.
Revs Molly & Caroline will be leading this book study along with a special guest each week. We will hold the study by Zoom on Tuesday nights from 7-8:30 pm. Our course will begin on Tuesday February 23 and last for 5 weeks, ending March 23.
You are welcome to join us for some or for all of the sessions. If you cannot make the course, we would still highly recommend you read this book on your own, and engage in the reflection exercises within.
If you are interested in attending this book study, please email Rev. Molly or Caroline or Kim in the office (orleansunited@rogers.com) to sign up. You can go ahead and acquire the book as well – there are copies available for purchase in our local Chapters, online, on Kobo, on Amazon, and local bookstores (e.g. Books on Beechwood). Molly can help you obtain a copy of the book if you are unable to order online.
