A Joyful Yarn

Interested in being part of a creative group that shares information about fibre arts, patterns, creative skills and inspirational ideas – all in a joyful and supportive atmosphere? Then A Joyful Yarn is for you!

We are a group of knitters, crocheters, and other needleworkers that meet at OUC on Wednesday evening every two weeks. We use donated yarn to create all sorts of things including: blankets for the Helping with Furniture charity; warm hats and scarves for Centre 507 and city shelters; a variety of hand-made products for OUC’s Christmas Market fundraiser; and blankets for Veterans’ House Canada.

You do not have to be a member of the OUC congregation to join this group. Participants are welcome to work on their personal yarn projects as well.
